Public discussion on the Draft Law on Public Procurement Law will be held on Januar 11 and 12, 2011. The Public discussion organizators are Foreing Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with Public Procurement Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Public Procurement Agency has prepared a Draft Law on Public Procurement in accordance with the Development Strategy of the public procurement system for the period from 2010.-2015. to 2015th years and Work Programe for 2010.
The Council of Ministers on the session held on August 26 th, 2010, adopted adopted the Development Strategy of the System of Public Procurement in Bosnia and Herzegovina .
Suggestions of businessman, B&H institutions and others say that the new Draft Law must be in accordance with EU directives regarding that harmonization with EU legislation is one of the commitments undertaken by Bosnia and Herzegovina over the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agrrement.
Discussion on the draft Law on Public Procurement was recently organized by Chamber of Economy of Sarajevo Canton and clarification about the new Law was given by Džinita Foco, Head of Public Procurement Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
