Nezavisne novine: The Council of Ministers of BiH has yesterday confirmed the Proposal Law on Salaries, by which the basis for salary calculation is being reduced from current 535 to 498 KM. By these changes, salaries will be reduced in a range of 40 to 400 KM. Remuneration for food allowance is also being reduced from 11.70 to 8 KM for each day spent at work.
Saving of around 40 million KM is being planned by the adopted changes.
"By this set of measures, incomes of officials, civil servants and employees at the state level will be reduced. This way, agreed savings of 40 million KM per year will be achieved at the level of state, in harmonization with fulfilling the conditions set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for concluding the stand-by arrangement for the period 2009-2012. Out of planned measures, reduction of basis will ensure savings of 17.5 million KM, and 10 million KM for the reduction of food allowance", has been notified after the session of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
By adopting this proposal, conditions for reduction of reimbursement have been created as well. Adoption of changes in period during the arrangement with the IMF has stopped increasing the allocations for salaries by all bases. The Council of Ministers of BiH has received the information on problems in realization of the Strategy of developing the management air traffic system in BiH.
"The BiH Directorate for civil air traffic (BHDCA) has been dictated to prepare the proposal of new organization of the BHDCA, which continues a legal continuity of the Directorate for civil air traffic, and overtake the whole staff from the Federal Civil Air traffic Directorate (FEDCAT) and the Republican Civil Air traffic Directorate of the RS (RSCAD). By having in mind that the new base of the BHDCA is in Banja Luka, it is necessary to define the staff of the Federal Civil Air traffic Directorate, which remains as an excess in Sarajevo, with the proposal of taking care of them", has been notified from the Council of Ministers of BiH.
The Council of Ministers of BiH has yesterday given consensus to the Agreement on accommodating and reimbursement of expenditures for executing the safety measures stated in crime procedure and other procedures, in which the measure of treating gets predicated.
By signing this agreement there will be possible to use 2.800.000 Swiss franks, which have been donated by the Swiss Government for the beginning of renovation and reconstruction of the Special hospital for forensic psychiatry of Sokolac. Admission of the first forensic patients in this hospital from whole BiH is expected at the end of 2009.
