BiH has taken the 119th place on the list of 127 countries which have been ranked by the American weekly paper "Forbes", according to conditions for business in this year.
From the countries from region, Montenegro is at 74th, Macedonia at 51st, and Slovenia at 36th place, while Albania and Serbia take 77th and 82nd place.
For the second time, Denmark has been proclaimed the best country for business, while the second place belongs to the US, and third to Canada.
Among the first ten countries, the most attractive for business, are Great Britain, Sweden Hong Kong, as well as Australia, New Zealand and Norway, which have been found for the first time on the list of top ten countries.
This is the fourth year for the "Forbes" to implement its research called "The best business countries".
The biggest changes in relation to the last year's ranking, has been achieved by the United Arabian Emirates, which have improved their position on the list by even 28 positions, and Malaysia.
Big changes have also been recorded by New Zealand, which has improved by seven positions and Jordan, which from the 33rd place has gone to the 28th.
"This research is not a story about the biggest growth of domestic gross product/DGP/ or the lowest unemployment, but an effort to determine the dynamics of the world economy and assist the investors and campaigns in planning of investment activity", has been stated in the comment of "Forbes".
In "Forbes" they also add that a global economic slowing down has hardly shacked the financial markets, quicken rates of unemployment and disturbed the trust in banking system.
"The chaos, however, did not equally influence all countries, so some of them will recover easily than the others, while attracting more successfully the investors and workers", concludes "Forbes", reports portal svevijesti.ba.
