On March 19th, 2009. the European Commission has sent notes, warnings and demands to some States Members regarding their disrespect of rules and regulations of the EU. That way Austria has received a note because it did not deliver the reports on application of the EU regulations on protection of truck drivers, Italy because it did not accept the guaranties of product origin, and Cyprus, Luxemburg, Poland and Great Britain because their did not act in sense of a rear view mirror for the "dead angle" on trucks.
Portugal has received a reminder because it did not report on system of penalizing in a sense of time of driving and a period of resting of truck driver. The Commission has asked Italy to modify its regulations related to taxable amounts for procurement of the immobile property. Austria was asked to end a discriminatory system of taxing of donations in the field of science and research, and Bulgaria to end a discriminatory taxing of the non-resident tax payers.
The Commission has sent a written warning to Spain in case of violating the EU regulations on treatment and disposal of the industrial waste. This case has been related to accumulating of solid industrial waste at delta of Huelva without applying the required measures which are a must for protection of environment. Estonia was also warned to apply the European regulations in sense of a television advertisement. The procedure for violation of procedures the Commission has initiated against Germany, because of the assignation of contract for public works for building the tax office building in Quedlinburg, and Italy related to direct assignations of contracts for procurement of services of management consulting for pharmacies, and France because of the exclusive rights on professional education in agriculture.
Following State Members have been sent by the Commission to the European Court of Justice: Germany – because of discriminatory taxing of the output dividends and discriminatory regulations for the buildings abroad; Greece – because it did not notify on upgrading the two directives on VAT in the national law, reports portal e-kapija.
