Dnevni avaz: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country has in last year for travel costs spent 2.302.272 KM. Chief of the BiH Diplomacy, Sven Alkalaj has spent 151.035 KM in total. Out of that, 104.535 KM have been given for the air-tickets and 28.424 KM for the expenditures of accommodation.
Jeremić's bill bigger than 600.000 KM
Just to compare, chiefs of diplomacies in the region are spending far more than Alkalaj. But, volume and work of the Serbian and Croatian diplomacy is hard to even compare to ours. Normally, Vuk Jeremić, chief of the Serbian diplomacy, has in last year made a bigger bill for travel costs – more than 600.000 KM. Nine times he was in USA, three times in Germany, twice in France, and he also visited Russia, Belgium, Britain, Iran, Greece… Even though the figures have not been calculated yet, media in Croatia claims that a chief of their diplomacy, Gordan Jandroković has come close to Jeremić's bill.
Besides that, Alkalaj has been given 16.935 KM for daily wages in abroad, and 400 KM more for daily wages in BiH. For that money, Alkalaj has had around 40 trips outside of BiH, and has more times visited USA and Brussels, and has also been gone to Helsinki, Oslo, Kisnevo, Marcelles, Teheran, Sengal, Kiev as well as Egypt, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, France, Czech Republic, Turkey, Slovenia, Germany, Slovakia…
His deputy, Ana Trišić-Babić has for around ten trips spent 36.829 KM out of which 14.337 was for air-tickets and 16.114 for accommodation in abroad. Besides that, she has collected more than 6.000 KM as her daily wages. Besides Beijing and Teheran, Trišić-Babić has last year visited USA, Greece, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Slovenia.
The most expenditures, of course, relates to rest of the Ministry in the frame of which there are 56 diplomatic-consular representations in the world. They have all together spent 873.685 KM for paying for the public transportation, and 25.375, or 34.703 KM for transport by official or personal vehicles.
For the accommodation 632.717 has been spent, while for daily wages in the abroad 634.155 KM has been collected. For the trips in BiH little less than 40.000 KM has been spent, out of which only 94 KM for public transportation, while 1.330 KM for using of personal vehicles, 16.693 for accommodation and 23.054 KM has been collected for daily wages.
