Dnevni avaz: The ombudsmen for human rights of BiH expect that the National Assembly of the RS will bring the Law on Cancelation of this position on the entity level, which the FBiH has done, by which the frame for an adequate work of this institution would be circled.
At the yesterday's press conference in Banja Luka, the newly named ombudsmen of BiH, Ivo Bradavica, Jasminka Džumhur and Ljubomir Sandić as the priority goals have stated solving cases which have been found and dealing by recommendations of the audit and the work on protection of human rights and more intensive contacts with the governments in BiH and the non-governmental sector.
It has been said that the newly named ombudsmen have found a big number of unsolved cases, around 1.000 in the office in Sarajevo, out of which some are from 2004., and 115 cases in the office in Banja Luka.
There has been expressed a need for opening the new departments for the children's rights, national minorities, prisoners and prisoners in custody, but for establishing the legal frames for arranging the area of the internal organization of the Ombudsman institution of BiH.
