The Government of the RS has yesterday accepted the project of creation of an electronic map of that entity "in order for citizens, business environment and all users to have the possibility to have an on-line information on all objects in the RS, 24 hours a day".
"This will be an interactive map of the RS in a digital form, available on the Government's web portal", has been said by Krsto Grujić, Deputy General Secretary of the Government for Information Technologies. He has said that around 60.000 KM will be ensured for this project and that it will cost much less than the brochures, publications, catalogs or other documents. Grujić has said that the implemented researches show that 21.3% of citizens has answered this question positively – have you personally used the internet? He claims that in the RS the users represent a certain critical mass, and the Government thinks that this way of communication needs to provide them with certain services. Grujić has also said that the Government of the RS leads in the region by a way on which it offers the electronic services to citizens and business environment, reports the portal e-kapija.
