Nezavisne novine:  The project of computerization of all institutions in the FBiH, called "federacija.ba", which implies their connecting through the internet, will cost more than 150 million KM, “Nezavisne novine" finds out from the sources close to the Government of the FBiH.

According to the information which has been adopted at the session last week by the Government of the FBiH, money will be ensured from the budget and economy, and from the Telecom in the FBiH and funds of the EU.

The Minister of Traffic and Communications of the FBiH, Nail Šećkanović, who is also a creator of the adopted information, claims that it is hard for him to estimate how much money is needed, but for beginning "several hundred thousands of KM from the budget" would be enough.

Franchises for the companies

All the companies which involve themselves in the project of computerization of the FBiH, could for 10 years become liberated from paying the tax on income and contribution on salaries of the employees who have legally been employed and are working on the affairs of the interest for the implementation of this project. In the same time, the banks could get the subventions for reducing of interest rates on the loans which would be invested in the affairs of computerization, has been written in the information of the Government of the FBiH. It has also been stated that they would be liberated from the tax on all kinds of education for attaining the information knowledge and skills, and the Government would establish the financial impulses for small and middle companies, whose work has been based on electronic business.

"At the end of the project, all schools and institutions would get the Internet and a bigger number of computers, especially in the rural regions which should be computer educated. Financially we will lean on the telecom sector because they, by working on this program, make a marketing move and create a space for the new subscribers and the new value, and all this will be returned to them doubly", Šećkanović has said.

By this project, the number of network connections to the Internet in the FBiH would be increased from 272.000 to about two million, and all the schools would get more computers than they already have.
It has been written in the information that the Ministry proposes that the Government of the FBiH supports the company "Konektuj se" (Get connected), which has been implemented by the Agency "Via Media", "with clearly defined rights and obligations of this marketing house". But, the minister claims that the "Via Media" was to the Government only a service by creation of this information, and that for its further engagements, "the Law on Public Procurements will be respected".

Even though the information has been adopted at the session of the Government of the FBiH, neither of the ministers has known how much this project was supposed to cost because that data has not been mentioned.

"With regards to the fact that this is about the information which I have not read with my full attention", approximately all the ministers which have been asked about this document by us, have answered.

Unofficially we have found out that the Ministry of Finance has given a negative standpoint about this information because of the lack of data on the price of the project.
