Nezavisne novine: Representatives of the RS Government and “Post of Srpska” have yesterday in Banja Luka with the Employment Agency of the RS signed the contracts on co-financing the work of 76 interns with high qualifications.
Contracts for 50 interns who will be employed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS have been signed by Stanislav Čađo, Minister for Internal Affairs of the RS, and Boško Tomić, Minister for Labor and Veteran Invalid Protection with Nedjeljko Veselinović, director of the Agency.
“This is for the MIA as an employer, a very significant moment by which the high educated young people get the opportunity to attain the intern experience, and become employed in the MIA. This is also a reflection of politics which has been led by the MIA by offering the chance to the youth to work in this institution”, Čađo has said.
After signing, Tomić has repeated that the Government of the RS has decided (by 7.4 million KM) to support the project of hiring 1.200 young highly educated people, who will receive 60% of salary from the Agency and the Government of the RS, while the rest will be paid by the employers.
Veselinović has yesterday also signed the contracts with Jasminka Krivokuća, director of the “Post of Srpska”, for hiring 26 young bachelors in this institution.
“Interns will be doing their probation in the next year, and if they show themselves well, they will, by their work, have the chance to contribute to the improvement of the post system in the whole RS”, Jasminka Krivokuća has said. She added that this is the way for a staff to be filled by younger people, who will have the opportunity to learn from their older colleagues.
Veselinović has expressed his belief that young people will prove themselves at their working positions and reminded that, according to data of the Employment Agency, by September 30th this year, there is 133.000 unemployed, and 135.000 in the same period last year.
