Nezavisne novine: The employers of the region of Bijeljina, 84 of them, have at the yesterday’s meeting in the premises of the Funds of the PDI of the RS expressed the interest for reception of 289 interns, with whom they have signed the contracts.
According to the strength of reception of interns in the region of Bijeljina, separated are the company "Bobar" which will accept 31 interns, municipality of Bijeljina 30, RiTE Ugljevik 20, New Bank 12, Fund of the PDI of the RS 10, and the rest are other employers.
As it has been highlighted at the meeting, the Employment Agency of the RS has initiated the project of hiring the interns with high qualifications in the RS for 2008/2009, on the basis of which 1.200 interns in the RS have got hired.
"The Departmental Ministry and the Government of the RS have had understanding for this project of the Agency which will partly be financed by the Government, and partly by us", has been said by Nedeljko Veselinović, director of the Employment Agency of the RS.
According to him, it is about the project worth 7.400.000 KM, while 4.000.000 KM will be ensured by the employers by paying 40% of monthly remunerations to the interns. He has reminded that interns are being financed 60% by the Agency, and 40% by the employer.
Veselinović has pointed out that this is a significant progress in the aim of reducing the number of unemployed in the RS.
"I suggest to the interns to maximally engage themselves at work, to show all their abilities and in that way create a precondition of staying employed after a year of probation", Veselinović has said by adding that the previous experiences show that 80% of interns remains at work after expiration of their probation.
"By supporting the program of the Agency and the Government of the RS for hiring the interns, the Administration Office of the company RiTE Ugljevik has adopted decision to accept 20 interns, and besides them, in Rudnik we have some young volunteers with the high school degree", has been said by Anto Gajić, director of the RiTE Ugljevik, the company in which 1.740 workers have been employed.
In the record of the Employment Agency of the RS there are 133.000 unemployed persons, and over the Agency in the last nine months 23.256 persons have been employed.
