Nezavisne novine: Around 1.200 high school students from six BiH towns have yesterday, as a part of the project "Volontiraj-kreditiraj", worked for one day in different companies.
The one-day job has been received by more than 1.200 students from Banja Luka, Bijeljina, Mostar, Sarajevo, Široki Brijeg and Tuzla, in more than 250 companies, state institutions, non governmental organizations and associations.
Their wage was 15 KM, and the money they earned will be paid to the joint account. Dženana Alađuz, director of the Association "Info house", organizer of the project, has repeated that this is a second year that this Association organizes project "Volontiraj-kreditiraj".
The students have been impatiently waiting for their tasks
"We hope that we will learn something new at our working positions, which will be useful to us in the future", has been said by Mila Bojić, a student of the third grade of Catering-Commercial-Tourist School.
"Last year this project has been implemented only in Sarajevo. Around 380 students from 17 schools have worked for one day and earned 6.500 KM. This year the project included 56 schools from six towns and more than 1.200 students should have earned more than 18.000 KM", she has said.
She explained that by the earned money the students will credit each other, so they will within the "Sajam ideja" select the best projects from each six towns.
"The money earned by students will be divided among the best schools", Alađuz has added.
In Banja Luka, in front of the Youth House, the high-school students have before the beginning of their working day, been greeted by Ljubinka Dragojević, independent expert associate in the Administrative service of Banja Luka.
"As a part of the project "Volontiraj-kreditiraj" our town involves 170 high school students. They will see what one working day looks like and receive their wages, and in the name of the City Administration, I wish them a very lucky day", has been said by Dragojević.
