Dnevni avaz: Politicians from BiH must take over the responsibility for the future of BiH, because if they do not, they will never come to the EU, has been announced yesterday for “Dnevni avaz” by Doris Pack, the president of the Commission of the European Parliament for the South-East Europe.

Her resolutions on BiH and the acceptation on signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement have received the support from the Committee for external affairs and soon it will be found on the agenda of the plenary conference of the Parliament of the EU.

General message of the resolution is that the governments must behave in the interest of citizens of BiH, and they want the path to the EU and a functional country. This is also in the interest of the Republic of Srpska and politicians must accept that they do what everyone asks them, the citizens and the European Union – says Pack.

Resolution, which received the support of the Committee, will surely pass in the Parliament of the EU. By it, forming the functional institutions so the country can be ready to fulfill the conditions for the progress towards the membership in the EU has been asked.

Parts of the BiH structures which are stopping the returns and block decision making process, are especially accused.

It is a shame that the coordinator for the funds of the financial assistance of the EU – IPA funds, has not been nominated. Without this, there is no money. It is also a shame that after signing the SAA, very little of the progress has been achieved and many obligations are not finished – Pack has pointed out.

In the Resolution it has been concluded that conditions for closing the Office of the High Representative must be respected strictly and the Constitution of BiH must be harmonized with the European charter on human rights.
