Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – The session of the Commission for state property was yesterday postponed because of absence of the members from the RS, confirmed Zvonimir Kutleša, chairman of this commission.
According to announcements, at yesterday’s session there was supposed to be draft law on state property established.
“The session was postponed because of absence of the representatives of the RS. I do not know when the new one will be scheduled, because the term we have yet to schedule. The representatives of the RS said that they cannot attend because of previous engagements”, said Kutleša.
The chairman of the Commission last week announced that the draft law on state property was “supposed to be harmonized at the next session”. He clarified that the principle of division of state property is already agreed upon.
“The representatives of the RS announced earlier that they might propose several alternative solutions for certain provisions of the law. That, primarily, is related to establishment of the office for state property and registration of the property to the state of BiH. It is possible that they did not prepare the alternative solution, so that is why they did not come to the session”, said Kutleša.
He points out that majority of members of the Commission accepts that state property is divided by so called functional-territorial principle.
“That means that the state would take for it self the property which is needed for functioning of state institutions. Entities and the Brčko District would mutually divide the rest”, pointed out Kutleša.
