Dnevni avaz: Bosnia and Herzegovina concluded a financial agreement with the World Bank for the Project of road infrastructure and safety worth 25 million dollars, reported Fena. The loan was intended for improvement of main road network in the country and improvement of institutional capacity related with safety of road traffic.
This is the first loan the World Bank approved within the new four year strategy of partnership with BiH. The deadline for return is 20 years with grace period of ten years and service expenses of 0.75 per cent a year.
With the received money restoration of 240 kilometers of roads in the FBiH and the RS will be financed, and within the project, also, strategy for improvement of safety of road traffic in the country will be drafted.
Competent for implementation of the project are the Directorate for roads of the FBiH and the “Putevi RS”. This was released from the Ministry of Finances and Treasury of BiH.
