Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – The Directorate for Implementation of the CIPS project, although announced, still has not published a tender for procurement of registration plates, stickers and other material necessary for replacement of vehicle registrations in BiH.
This was confirmed by Amila Opardija, spokesperson of the Directorate of the CIPS, stressing that she expects that the tender will be published by the end of this month. They announced earlier from this directorate that the tender will be published in April and that the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted a new plan of replacement of vehicle registrations, and all the previous acts related with this process have been put out of force. Amila Opardija said that postponements were of purely technical nature.
In the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, not even after one month and a half could we get the answers on questions related with court disputes initiated because of withdrawn tender for procurement of registration plates and stickers from 2005.
Ferid Bajrović, director of the Sarajevo firm “Ferba International”, sued this ministry because of violation of tender procedures and award of scores. Appeal was also submitted by the German firm “J.H. Toennjes E.A.S.T.”, with which the Ministry of Civil Affairs, while the minister was Safet Halilović, closed an agreement on procurement of stickers.
Bajrović expects that the court decision on this administrative dispute should be known this month, and that is why the tender was postponed.
