Dnevni avaz: Yesterday, in the BiH Parliament, the contract was signed on restoration of the damaged façade of this institution and by the end of the year this building in the centre of Sarajevo will have the previous appearance. The contract worth 3.486.000 KM was signed by the secretary of the Joint service of the BiH Parliament Aljoša Čampara and Vehid Adilović, director of “Unigradnja”, which will perform the works.
Signing was attended also by the ambassador of Norway Jan Braathu, whose government will provide 80 per cent of the needed money, and the rest will be financed by the budget of BiH.
By the end of the year we will also restore the square in front of the building. We expect that it will be the space which by looks suits city and European square – said Čampara.
Works will start in June and around 4.000 sq metres of stone plates and around 3000 sq meters of glass will be replaced.
Čampara expressed expectation that very soon moving out of the Council of Ministers will start in the neighboring building, by which the BiH Parliament will have better working conditions.
