Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – The Council of Ministers of BiH yesterday adopted decisions on award of around 6.5 million KM to institutions of culture, sports, innovators, non-profit organisations, and projects of demining. After the session this was released by Nikola Špirić, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers. He said that the Council of Ministers adopted a decision on criteria for award of three million KM intended for programme of co-financing of institutions of culture in BiH, and 600.000 KM for promotion of BH culture in the world.
“The Council of Ministers supported the request for support of humanitarian action “Night of Thousand Dinners”, which is, as a support to the process of demining, being organised by the American Chamber of Commerce”, said Špirić. The amount of 150.000 KM was provided for support to technical culture and innovations, and 15.000 KM for Jewish community, which organises Holocaust Memorial Day.
The Council of Ministers also adopted a decision on setting criteria for award of 1.3 million KM for co-financing of sports manifestations, and 1.15 million KM for non-profit organisations u BiH. The agenda also covered establishment of remunerations for work in several commissions, although the Council of Ministers adopted a decision which abolishes or reduces these expenses. “We did not adopt a decision on payment of remunerations. Members in permanent commissions should not receive more than 200 to 300 KM per month”, said Špirić. The Council of Ministers established yesterday the Proposal of changes and amendments to the Law on Production of Armaments, accepting the suggestions of the Defence Minister.
“We hope that this will contribute to development of dedicated production”, said Špirić. The Council of Ministers started yesterday the activities for adoption of traffic policy of BiH from 2007 until 2020, which is a condition for further progress in the process of European integrations. Information on air traffic in BiH was also adopted, where loan of five million euro is stipulated.
