At today's session, the Council of Ministers of BiH has adopted the First semiannual report on realization of project "Strengthening of BiH capacities for strategic planning and development of action policies" (SPPD), which has been proposed by the Public Administration Reform Coordinator's Office.
By having in mind the importance of establishing of functional system for strategic planning and development of action policies in BiH, the UNDP in BiH, as an implementer of the SPPD project has been asked for a more active approach and faster implementation of project activities, has been informed from the Intelligence service of the Council of Ministers of BiH Secretary General.
The Public Administration Reform Coordinator's Office is obligated to monitor and direct the SPPD project, and to regularly report on it to the Council of Ministers of BiH.
In harmonization with the Public Administration Reform Strategy in BiH and on the basis of stated needs of the institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the UNDP has prepared a project with a goal of strengthening of planning, analytical work and managing of public funds through defining and institutionalizing of organizational capacities and enabling of human resources at state and entity level.
For implementation of project “Strengthening of BiH capacities for strategic planning and development of action policies" donors have already ensured funds in height of around 2.5 million American dollars.
