The UNDP, which is the implementer of the project “Capacity building for strategic planning and policy development in BiH” (SPPD) organizes workshops for the beneficiaries of this project and for representatives of the state and entity ministries competent for the sectors: work and employment, social protection, small and medium enterprises, transport and communications, energy, industry, mining.
Order of workshops is:
March 23rd – 24 – Hotel Pahuljica, Vlašić, for the sector Work and Employment and Social Protection
March 28 – 29 – Hotel Pahuljica, Vlašić, for the sector Small and Medium Enterprises
March 30 – 31st – Hotel Pahuljica, Vlašić, for the sector Transport and Communications
April 4 – 5 – Hotel Pahuljica, Vlašić, for the sector Energy, Industry and Mining
In accordance with the Strategy of Public Administration Reform in BiH, and based on the expressed needs of institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the UNDP prepared a project aimed at strengthening planning, analytical work and management of public funds by defining and institutionalizing the organizational capacities and training of human resources at the State and Entity levels.
In accordance with the Strategy of Public Administration Reform in BiH, and based on the expressed needs of institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the UNDP prepared a project aimed at supporting establishment and successful functioning of strategic planning and development of public policies system at the BiH and entity levels. The project will develop capacities of civil servants in the selected department ministries in order for them to undertake tasks related to strategic planning, public policy development, and effectively link them with the process of managing public resources. Development of these capacities will positively contribute to the efficient, effective and accountable public administration in BiH, and support the process of EU accession.
The Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office is in charge of monitoring and directing implementation of the SPPD project and to regularly report on it to the Council of Ministers of BiH, and at the workshop which will be held in the period of April 4 – 5, there will be a representative of the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office.
