As part of the “EU for Public Administration Reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina” project, a workshop on improving the process of strategic and sectoral planning within the framework of IPA/EI in Bosnia and Herzegovina is being held in Ethno village Stanišići on September 12th and 13th. The workshop is attended by Darko Kasap, coordinator for public administration reform, Željko Škarica, coordinator for public administration reform of the Federation of BiH and representatives of key institutions from all administrative levels responsible for strategic planning.
The focus of the workshop is on improving the dialogue and clarifying the necessary steps in the process of strategic planning, with special reference to sectoral planning:
Discussion on the structure/model of EU programming
Analysis of the strategic planning process in accordance with the legal framework established at all administrative levels in BiH
Discussion on basic principles and possible coordination mechanisms for sectoral planning in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Discussion on the roles and functions of relevant institutions and decision makers in the strategic planning process
