Bosnia and Herzegovina, unlike the countries in the region, has just stepped into the era of digital transformation of public administration, which ultimately aims to enable citizens and business entities to provide faster and simpler services from public institutions, reports Hayat television.
The digital transformation of public administration is an important benefit in restoring public trust in the work of institutions. The reform of public administration in the field of service delivery is focused on processes that will transform, that is, orient public administration towards users, by expertly monitoring and understanding their needs and expectations, and based on that, improving business processes and administrative procedures, reducing the administrative burden, enabling availability of services through different communication channels, while ensuring high quality and reducing the price of the service.
In order to achieve the goals outlined in the PAR Strategic Framework for the period up to 2027, it is necessary to realize many prerequisites: from establishing the necessary service and data IT infrastructure, adopting certain policies for the development of e-government, but also planning budget funds which, in addition to technical infrastructure, enable continuous professional training of employees in public administration for the provision of digital services.
