On April 5, 2022, in organization by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) in Skopje, Republic of Northern Macedonia, a meeting of the Working Group for Interoperability and Trust Services was held, and was attended by a representative of the PARCO, Expert Advisor for service delivery and IT Sabahudin Suljević.
The aim of this meeting was to present the identified use cases that could be tested for the establishment of regionally interoperable electronic services. The following examples of use are currently considered the most likely to be feasible:
- Population registers
- Register of business entities
- Tax administration
- Education (validity of degrees)
Some other examples of use-cases were considered, such as work permits, birth certificates, and marital status checks.
It was stated that this is the first regional step aimed at establishing cross-border services.
It was agreed to define in more detail the requirements and benefits for individual use-cases, so that they could be further presented to key actors.
