On Monday, May 14, there will be the first meeting of the Advisory Board of the Programme “Strengthening Public Institutions in BiH”, between the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office in BiH (PARCO) and the organisation Deutche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The meeting will be held in the hotel “Bristol” in Sarajevo, starting at 10 o’clock.
The programme of the PARCO and the GIZ, “Strengthening Public Institutions in BiH” is directed to strengthening of the selected institutions in BiH and to improvement of quality of their services in accordance with the requirements of the whole state. In order for these objectives to be achieved, especially in the segment of facilitation of cooperation and involvement of all the relevant partners in sustainable and long-term oriented activities of the Programme, this Board will be established.
For the first session of the Advisory Board, which will be chaired by the state PAR coordinator, Ms. Semiha Borovac, the following agenda has been proposed:
1. Discussion and adoption of the guidelines for work of the Advisory Board;
2. Presentation and discussion on the strategy of the programme of strengthening public institutions and overview of the progress of implementation in the institutions included in the programme;
3. Discussion and adoption of the proposal, regarding inclusion of additional institutions in the Programme;
4. Miscellaneous.
