The mayors of municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the representatives of the local communities from region, and domestic and foreign experts will gather on Wednesday, 17th of December, in Sarajevo, in order to talk about the challenges which the local governments face in the process of the European Integrations.

The participants of the conference will be greeted by the presidents of the entity coalitions of towns and municipalities, Radomir Kezunović and Ljubo Bešlić, and the regional director of the Netherlands Development Organization for Balkans, Courtney Bickert.

The High Representative and a Special Representative of the European Union in BiH, Miroslav Lajčák, will talk about the importance of including the municipalities in the process of the European Integrations.

The conference named „To understand the EU: Challenge for the local government“ is being organized by the Netherlands Development Organization, in cooperation with coalitions of towns and municipalities in the FBiH and the RS, and the Directorate for European Integrations of BiH.
