The Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office in BiH has organized today the reception for domestic and international partners regarding the move into new offices at the address Vrazova in Sarajevo.
Speaking to the present guests, Nevenka Savić, the State Coordinator for the Public Administration Reform has said that the Office has fulfilled a part of the task from the Strategy of the Public Administration Reform and the Action plan 1. She has reminded that in 2004, when it was formed, the Office had only two employees.
“Today we have 35 employees and the conditions of work which are ensuring us to dedicate ourselves totally to fulfillment of the goal – coordinating the administration reform which will be more modern, efficient, professional and responsible, able to respond to the European challenges, especially to the needs of our citizens. The public administration should not be the purpose to itself, but it must be at the service of the citizens”, Savić has said.
She pointed out that the PARCO has many more things to do, and that without a strong will and hard work no reform can be completed.
Andrew McBride, the leader of the project SEPARB has expressed satisfaction with cooperation with the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office, and emphasized the importance of involvement of all administrative levels in this process.
The reception, among the others, has been attended by the representatives of the institutions of the public administration from the levels of the Federation, the Republic of Srpska, the Brčko District and BiH.
