Project Name Governance Accountability Project 2 (GAP 2)
Short Description UThe USAID, the Swedish Agency for International Development and Cooperation (SIDA) and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in BiH together finance the GAP project (totally 30 million dollars). The GAP significantly improves the sector of services, as well as the system of administration/management in 71 municipalities through direct interventions in municipalities, among which is establishment of counter halls, thanking to which the waiting time is significantly reduced because the consolidated services for the whole municipality are provided in one location. GAP also helps the local authorities to improve the finance management, by providing technical assistance which was created to help them to better control and rationalise incomes and expenses. This project helps the local authorities to strengthen the common voice by building societies.
