In cooperation with the President of the Government of Posavina County, Mr. Đuro Topić, the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Ministry of Justice are organizing a Round Table on Strengthening Political Support for the Public Administration Reform Process in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Round Table is organized with the support of SIGMA, and will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in the conference hall of the Navis Hotel in Orašje.
Given that public administration reform is key to establishing a public administration that provides quality services to citizens in all sectors, is capable of dealing with new challenges and public pressures, and implements obligations from the European Union accession process, political support and governance play a key role in this context, especially in the segment of understanding and prioritizing the implementation of key reform measures, such as the measures envisaged in the Strategic Framework and Action Plan for Public Administration Reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018 – 2022 (2027), which were adopted by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of Republika Srpska, and the Government of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In addition to Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Ministry of Justice and representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina and SIGMA, the participants of the Round Table are cantonal line ministers and public administration reform coordinators, whose cooperation with the institutions and the Public Administration Reform Coordinator of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina reflects commitment and dedication to the implementation of reform activities.
