Nezavisne novine: Violation of the public procurement procedure is the most common failure in financial business of the institutions and agencies of BiH in 2007., which has been confirmed by the Audit office of the Institutions of BiH, and the Commission for finances and budget of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

Milenko Šego, head auditor of BiH, has by addressing the delegates said that the Audit office has in business of 46 institutions of BiH in 2007. recorded existing of one or more irregularity, because of which this office has adopted around 20 recommendations for their removal.

He has precised that in 35 institutions, out of 46 which have received an opinion with qualification, or in whose business there were defects, have been confirmed the omissions related to public procurements.

The total public procurements in the Institutions of BiH in 2007. have been around 70 million KM, and procurements with omissions, according to the report of audit, make more than 51 million KM. The delegate Dušanka Majkić, who has presented the report of the Commission for finances and budget of the House of Peoples on the audit findings, has warned that only 11 institutions encompassed by the audit, or 20% of them have received a positive report, and it is about the institutions with small budgets.

She has said that the problems in financial business have been registered by the big budget users, as the Ministry of Defense, which has in 2007. had a budget of 285 million KM, so the failures in business of that ministry can cost millions of KM.
