Oslobođenje: The Government of the Republic of Srpska has yesterday deliberated the overview of measures for the exemption of negative effects of the world economic crisis on the RS. This document, which contains around 100 measures, will be presented during this week to the Council for Development of the RS, and it has been offered for deliberation to the National Assembly of the RS.

– The system of measures encompasses all the segments of society and it has been based, before others, on the reduction of public expenditure, and motivating the public investments in the goal of an increase of the number of vacancies – has been explained by the Prime Minister of the RS, Milorad Dodik after the session of the Government in Banja Luka, by the announcement of freezing the salaries in public institutions.

In the goal of savings, the Government of the RS will adopt the decision on prohibition of buying the vehicles and equipment in public institutions, reduction of personal parking, and propose the changes of the Law on Public Procurements in the aim of motivating the local companies. Dodik has said that it is necessary to de-block 42 million KM as soon as possible from the account of the Elektroprenos BiH, in order to direct it to developmental projects.

By calling on the citizens that the time is for savings and preferring the domestic production, he has stated that during last year 80 million KM has been gone from the RS for water, 65 million KM for bear, and the citizens have not been saving not even on their telephone calls to abroad, for what has been paid 60 million KM.
