Nezavisne novine: BANJALUKA – Zoran Lipovac, minister of administration and local self governance of the RS, was elected member of the Permanent Committee of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. This was released yesterday from this ministry.

The release adds that Perica Rajčević, president of the Board for European Integrations and Regional Cooperation of the National Assembly of the RS, was elected his deputy.

The Permanent Committee of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities consists of representatives of local and regional authorities of the countries members of the CoE.

Lipovac and Rajčević are members of the Permanent Committee in front of regional authorities, while Ljubo Bešlić, mayor of Mostar, and Jasmin Imamović, mayor of the Municipality of Tuzla, are appointed members of the Permanent Committee in front of local authorities. Ljiljana Miličević from the RS was elected, as the release states, member of the Committee for Sustainable Development of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the CoE.
