Project name: Training of Employees Who Execute the Jobs of Civil Administration for Application of Information Technologies and Work on Computers
Brief Description:  General objective

Development of effective and modern civil service / administration in BiH, in accordance with the European standards and the best practice, which would be capable to meet the requirements of the integration processes in the EU and provide a quality service to its citizens, clients from the economy sector and other users of its services.

Purpose of the Project

Building of capacities of the civil servants in the bodies of civil service / administration at the level of the institutions of BiH, the Federation of BiH, the Republic of Srpska and the Brčko District of BiH, as well as employees in the units of local self administration who execute the jobs from the competency of the administration bodies, for practical application of knowledge from the field of information technologies in every day work and increase of the general degree of computer literacy in the civil service / administration.

Brief Description

The project is continuation of the project “Training of Civil Servants for Application of Information Technologies and Work on Computers”. It is related with provision of services of training of employees in the civil service / administration bodies, as well as in the units of local self governance for application of information technologies and use of computers by standardised programme of training and verification of gained knowledge, which ensure gaining certificates for computer literacy recognised at European and/or international level. The programme of training is equally necessary both to employees with low level of knowledge of work on computer and to the officers who have appropriate practical knowledge and through the programme of education they need to be enabled to further gain advanced knowledge and receive international diploma that could verify the gained knowledge.

The programme of training of attendees covers the teaching units needed for enabling for work on computers and application of ICT for beginner, intermediate and advanced level of users, established by standardised system of training and knowledge testing and skills for the following areas (modules):

–        Work with the operative system and file management (Microsoft Windows)

–        Writing and text processing (Microsoft Word)

–        Electronic tables and calculations (Microsoft Excel)

–        Networks, information services and communications (Microsoft Internet Explorer and electronic mail – Microsoft Outlook / Outlook Express)

Beneficiary of the Project:  

The direct beneficiaries are the institutions and the administration bodies and units of local self governance, whose employees are involved in the training programme total of 1780 employees:

·         total of 380 civil servants / employees in various institutions from the level of BiH

·         total of 600 civil servants / employees in various administration bodies from the level of the Federation of BiH

·         total of 600 civil servants / employees in various administration bodies of the Republic of Srpska

·         total of 200 civil servants / employees in various administration bodies of the Brčko District of BiH.

Geographical area covered by the project / location: The project is related with the whole territory of BiH.
