Dragan Ćuzulan, public administration reform coordinator and Dragan Ninić, authorised representative of the “Lanaco” d.o.o. Banja Luka, signed today in Sarajevo the contract on implementation of the project “Upgrade of the Common Information System for Business Registration in the Republic of Srpska through procurement of the necessary HW infrastructure (backup servers)”.

Implementation of this project would support the initiated reforms in the Republic of Srpska in the field of business registration. The Project applies only to the level of the RS, and the output of the project will be a sophisticated upgrade of the existing common information system of business registration with two backup servers, including their integration with application and system software and databases, as well as segmentation and migration of data to the upgraded hardware”.

“Implementation of the project would widen the capacities of the Common information system for business registration in the Republic of Srpska (CISBR), which would provide a permanent availability and possibility of system data recovery in cases of failure on the CISBR, as well as a protection from the loss of critical data from the CISBR. In any case, the common information system is a significant element of business registration reform. Its design enabled functioning of one stop shop for business registration in the Republic of Srpska. However, due to continuous influx of documentation and data input in the system, it needs to be continuously upgraded”, public administration reform coordinator pointed out.

“Widening of the information system would contribute to more efficient work of the business registration system, and to a greater data security. I truly believe, as well as guarantee that we will successfully implement this project”, said Ninić.

Value of the contract is BAM 42,471.00, VAT included. Project implementer is Lanaco d.o.o Banja Luka, and the period of implementation is 2 months.

This is the eighth project from the field of public administration reform, whose implementation started in this year.
