Yesterday in Sarajevo, in the premises of the PARCO, organised by the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office and the organisation OECD/SIGMA, there was a workshop on the priority areas and objectives of the new strategic framework.

Objective of the workshop was to present the approach of the SIGMA and the tools – questionnaire that was designed for prioritisation and setting (formulating) the objectives, and the agreement with the key interested parties (stakeholders) in the process of preparation of the new strategic framework for PAR. There was a discussion at the workshop on the contents of the questionnaire, which would serve as a tool for self-assessment to the BiH institutions regarding the implementation so far of the principles of the public administration reform as well as regarding the future activities the PARCO implements regarding the draft of strategic framework documents.

Bosnia and Herzegovina started drafting the new strategic framework of public administration reform, and the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office was put in charge to prepare, in coordination with the structures for public administration reform implementation, the document related with further direction of public administration reform.

The workshop was attended by the public administration reform coordinator in BiH, Dragan Ćuzulan, the public administration reform coordinator from the Federation of BiH Mirsada Jahić, the employees in the PARCO and the representatives of the OECD/SIGMA Peter Vagi and Egle Rimkute.
