Jahorina – Drafting of law proposals and law explanations, as well as analyses of them, is the topic of a training organized by the USAID in the period from January 31 to February 4, 2012, for representatives of government institutions in BiH and the FBiH at Jahorina.
The workshop has been attended by representatives of parliaments of BiH and the FBiH.

Semiha Borovac, State PAR Coordinator in BiH has shortly presented a history of establishing the PAR Coordinator’s Office and its main activities, by asking for a support from parliamentarians in implementation of measures from the Action Plan and the PAR Strategy, especially those which oblige the parliaments to adopt the key documents, as are, in this case, the Legislative Drafting Rules.

In a frame of the training, presentation has been held by Professor Vedad Silajdžić, key expert in implementation of the project "Improvement of Rules and Procedures for Legal, Other Regulations and General Documents Drafting in BiH", who has presented the project activities, completed analyses and key challenges and improvements in new nomo-technical rules for documents drafting in relation to the existing rules at the level of state, entities and the District of Brčko of BiH.

Normally, the Faculty of Economy in Sarajevo is the implementer of the project "Improvement of Rules and Procedures for Legal, Other Regulations and General Documents Drafting in BiH", financed by funds of the PAR Fund.

Realization of this project executes the measures related to a professional relation of civil servants in documents drafting because they will be obliged to do a much more detailed consultation, examine circumstances and the impact of law in certain areas, and broader, which contributes to reaching better quality of laws and legal safety for citizens.
