The document “Manual on Performance Appraisal of Civil Servants and Employees – Guide to successful performance management in the civil service structures in BiH”, is only one of the output results of the project “Development of Performance Management System in Structures of Civil Service in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, which has been implemented by the consortium "Djikic Consulting Services" d.o.o. Sarajevo and "Đikić" d.o.o. Sarajevo, and financed by funds from the Public Administration Reform Fund in BiH.

The project team has prepared this manual in order to make the appraisal procedure easier to all participants in this procedure, going from civil servants to institutions managers. The objective is to understand the appraisal as a positive instrument of human resources development in civil service, which is opposite to the simplified ingrained belief that the appraisal is only a basis for receiving a certain award or sanction.

Anyway, the project “Development of Performance Management System in Structures of Civil Service in Bosnia and Herzegovina” has provided support for the Action plan 1 of the Public Administration Reform Strategy in BiH.
