Dnevni avaz: Until June 25, this year the Tax Authority of the FBiH has processed 538.737 tax notifications. Besides the annual notifications for 2008, it is about the new notifications of monthly incomes of citizens as well.
– Out of 250.000 new notifications we have processed around 200.000 – has been said by Midhat Arifović, director of the Tax Authority.
According to him, they expect that 450.000 requests for tax cards will arrive to their address, therefore the employees of this authority will in the next months have a lot of work to do, in order to begin issuing those from September 1st.
– We need many people, because all the data must be controlled, compared…We need 285 employees, but I do not hope we will hire them because of the veto of the Ministry of Finance of the FBiH – Arifović has said.
The big problem, he has added, is in the fact that his employees work in very bad conditions, tax authorities are inadequate, there is no place to store the archive, and there are 6-7 workers in each office…
– They accommodate parties in such offices; therefore it is normal to expect a dissatisfaction of citizens, who come here. We are very often a non-qualitative service to citizens, just because of the conditions in which we work. Unfortunately, at almost 80 locations we have only around 10 desk-halls – Arifović has complained.
– He reminds that since July 1st electronic business of the Tax Administration has started, so the tax payers can send their notifications through the internet as well.
