Dnevni list: The external debt of BiH, concluding with the end of 2008., was 4.2 billion KM, has been notified from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH.
External debt of the Federation of BiH is around 2.7 billion KM, 1.45 billion KM of the Republic of Srpska, and around eight million KM of the Brčko District and close to 10 million of the state institutions of BiH.
The most obligations BiH has towards the World Bank to which it owes 2.1 billion KM or 50.17% of the total debt, to the Paris creditor club around 879 million KM or 20.97%, and to the European Investment Bank (EIB) around 246 million KM or 5.87% of the total external debt. Obligations for servicing the external debt of BiH in 2009. are 384 million KM, has been stated in notification.
