Nezavisne novine: The chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Nikola Špirić has yesterday said that he will not propose concrete solutions for conditions from the European Partnership, which domestic governments cannot agree on.

“It is not my job to propose concrete solutions for problematic questions. There are authorized institutions which need to do it, and my job is to put it in the agenda of the Council of Ministers of BiH. We often have a case that the European conditions are being interpreted differently, so if the new institution should be established, Bosniaks want it to be an agency, while Serbs want an office. It all creates disagreements, and I do not care how that institution will be called, it is important to have it”, Špirić has said. He has said this after the meeting with the chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Nebojša Radmanović, chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of BiH, Beriz Belkić and deputy minister of foreign affairs of BiH, Ana Trišić-Babić. The members of the Presidency of BiH, Haris Silajdžić and Željko Komšić, minister of foreign affairs Sven Alkalaj and Mladen Ivanić, chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of BiH, have also been invited to the meeting dedicated to the European integrations.

Špirić has explained that Ivanić and Alkalaj have been out of country, and that Silajdžić has had confirmed his absence by earlier undertaken obligations. Komšić has not shown up at the meeting, nor has he explained the reasons of his absence.

“We have agreed that it is important to ensure a better coordination between the institutions as well, with the goal of fulfilling the conditions which stand before us on the Euro-Atlantic path”, Špirić has said.

He has graded that the biggest problem for BiH in the process of liberalization of visa regime will be the safety of documents.

“We must persuade the representatives of Brussels that the documents are safe. That is why it is important to start as soon as possible with the computerization of master offices”, Špirić has said.
