Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – Commission for election of main auditor and deputies yesterday completed lists of most successful candidates and directed them to the BH parliament, which will appoint new management of the Office for Audit of Business of Institutions of BiH.

This was confirmed yesterday by Dušanka Majkić, deputy chairperson of this commission. She reminded that after interviews and evaluation the greatest number of points won of the Serbs present deputy main auditor, Dragan Kulina, of Croats, the best evaluated was present main auditor Milenko Šego. Dževad Nekić, deputy director of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH, won the greatest number of points of Bosniaks.

“Parliament will decide which will be the nationality of the main auditor, and deputies will be from other two nations. That goes into political agreement and on that the Commission did not declare”, said Majkić.

Lists of 10 candidates will be submitted to the MPs, and it is expected that as soon as at the next session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, this issue will be on the agenda. This is the second vacancy procedure for election of main auditor and deputies. In the first vacancy procedure, which the new convocation of the parliament annulled, the best were the same candidates. To the present management of the Office for Audit, the mandate expired almost two years ago.
